nut oils

Please note:
cows milk, sour cream, whipping cream, double cream
should not be used as they can cause very soft stool and even diarrhea
- high in milk sugars (lactose)
The above listed dairy products also contain milk sugars, but very little.
-------------
Nuts are best bought from healthfood shops and kept in a container in the fridge.
The oils in nuts can otherwise go rancid very quickly and that means- the good oils turn into bad ones!
They can be ground and mixed with fruit and cottage cheese for a delicious dessert - yes, for your dog!
-------------
Try to buy organic, unrefined, cold-pressed oils, it is worth paying a bit more for quality oil.
Oils should be kept in the fridge in a dark bottle. Good oils are usually sold in light protected bottles!
An open bottle shouldn't be used longer than 2 months - try buying small bottles of oil!
